Huh. So no pump? no tools? no lights? no bell? no brake pads? no add-ons? no bike shop maintenance? no cleaners or lubes? no cycling gear? no bike clothes? Interesting.

also… from the article “I’m not saying you definitely will rack up thousands of dollars in bills, but it is possible depending on your needs & circumstances.” — i.e. the point is, everyone’s experience will vary, but it’s best not to assume cycling is a one-time expense, because it’s not, and people should budget for maintenance, parts, labor, and possibly even upgrades. — it’s simply about being prepared.
